Which AI image generator is the best?

Do I need to know how to write a prompt?
No. A prompt is just the description you type. Say who or what is in the picture, where, and the style you like. Every example here has a “Try this” button so you can start from it.
Can I edit my own photos?

Why do some models have two names?
A few models have a friendly name and a technical one, like Nano Banana Pro, which is Google’s Gemini 3 Pro Image. It is the same model, so we show it once.
