In plain words
Seedance V1.0 Pro Fast turns a picture, or a description, into a short video. You tell it what should move and how, and it makes a clip of a few seconds.
Every clip on this page was made the same way: we started from a still picture and asked Seedance to bring it to life. Storm waves at a lighthouse, a golden fish swimming through the clouds, a cabin under the northern lights. These are scenes where big, slow movement does the work, and that’s where it shines.
Keep in mind that the clips are silent. For a video with sound, look at Veo 3.1.
How to get a good result
- Start from a good picture. A clear, well-lit image gives the video a strong first frame. You can make one first on the Image page.
- Describe the movement, not just the scene. “Waves crash and spray drifts” works better than “a stormy sea”.
- Say what the camera does. “Slow push-in”, “camera rises”, “still camera”.
- Keep it simple. One or two things moving is easier than a crowd.
- Go short first. Try a 4 or 5 second clip, then make it longer once you like it.
When to pick another model
If you need sound, choose Veo 3.1, which adds it to the clip. If you want to compare more options, all the video models in chatmodel are listed on the video models page.
