In plain words
Seedance 2.0 Fast makes a short clip with sound from a description, a photo, or a first and a last picture. You choose a length from 4 to 15 seconds.
As the name says, it is the quicker member of Seedance 2.0. The trade-off is size: its sharpest clips are 720p, which is right for a phone but not for a big TV.
How to get the most out of it
- Use it for drafts. Try the scene, change the light or the camera, try again. When it’s right, keep it or remake it bigger in Seedance 2.0.
- Think phone first. Upright clips and close subjects work well on a small screen.
- Name one or two sounds, like “clapping” or “barking”. A long list of sounds is harder to match.
- Short is fine. For a message, 5 or 6 seconds is often all you need.
How it compares with its siblings
Seedance 2.0 has the same lengths and sound and goes up to 4K. Seedance 2.5 is newer and allows clips up to 30 seconds. Seedance V1.5 Pro is the older version with sound, and Seedance V1.0 Pro Fast is the oldest, with silent clips.
When to pick another model
Another quick option with sound, from Google, is Veo 3.1 Fast, which also goes up to 4K. If you have a clip you want to change rather than make, try Grok Imagine Video.
