In plain words
Kling V3.0 I2V starts from your picture. Describe how it should move and it makes a clip with sound, from 3 to 15 seconds and up to 4K.
It can also take a first and a last picture and fill in the movement in between.
How to get the most out of it
- Choose a sharp photo. A blurry start gives a blurry clip. For old, damaged photos, restore them first.
- Say what stays still. “The people stay still” helps protect faces.
- For two pictures, keep the same angle. Same spot, same framing, only the change you want.
- Start short. A 5 second test tells you a lot before you ask for 15.
How it compares with its siblings
Kling V3.0 is the same generation for text. Kling V3.0 Motion also starts from your picture, but copies the movement from a video you give it. Kling 2.6 and Kling 2.5 Turbo are earlier models that work from text only.
When to pick another model
For longer clips from a photo, try Wan V3.0, up to 30 seconds. To keep a pet or object looking the same using reference pictures, Wan V3.0 does that too. For 4K from a photo with Google, see Veo 3.1.
