In plain words
Kling 2.6 makes a clip from a written description: 5 or 10 seconds, with sound, up to 1080p.
Think of it as the middle of the Kling range. It’s a newer version than Kling 2.5 Turbo, and Kling V3.0 sits above it with more lengths and sharper clips.
How to get the most out of it
- Write three things: the place, what moves, what you hear.
- Use the 10 seconds for one action that takes time, like a train arriving, not three separate events.
- Name the light. “Misty morning”, “golden evening”, “harbour at night” set the mood.
- Say where the camera is, for example “on the platform” or “at table height”.
How it compares with its siblings
Kling 2.5 Turbo is lighter and quicker, with the same lengths. Kling V3.0 is a more capable text model, from 3 to 15 seconds and up to 4K. For photos there is Kling V3.0 I2V. To copy movement from a video, see Kling 2.6 Motion, from the same generation.
When to pick another model
To start from your own photo, try Kling V3.0 I2V or Wan V2.6 I2V. For clips longer than 10 seconds from text, see Wan V2.6 or Seedance 2.0.
