What Help Me Write does
Help Me Write turns a quick description into a finished first draft. You tell it what you need, for example “an email to my neighbor about the fence, friendly but clear”, and it writes it for you.
It also works on a draft you already have. Paste your rough version and it tidies the wording, fixes awkward phrases and fits it to the type and tone you choose.
Each draft ends with a short Improvements section: two or three notes on what it did. You stay in charge and change what you like before you send it.
What you can change
Type
- Email: with a subject line, a greeting, the message and a sign-off, and a clear ask.
- Essay: an introduction with the main idea, body paragraphs and a conclusion.
- Blog Post: a headline, short paragraphs and subheadings.
- Social Media: a strong first line, short and punchy, with hashtags if they fit.
- Cover Letter: a business letter to the hiring manager that makes the case for your experience.
- Creative Writing: stories and pieces that show rather than tell.
Tone: Professional, Friendly, Formal, Casual or Persuasive.
Length: Short (under 150 words), Medium (300 to 500) or Long (800 or more).
What it won’t do
- It doesn’t know your situation beyond what you write, and it can get details wrong.
- It won’t send anything. You copy the draft and send it yourself.
- It keeps the language you wrote in. To change language, use Translate.
For very personal messages, like a condolence note, use the draft for ideas and write the final version in your own words.
